I have worked in the fashion industry and I have gain extensive experience in many sectors and different countries. I have designed sportswear, kidswear, womenswear, menswear and jeans. All through different categories including woven and jersey. I have extensive experience in trends scouting, concept creation, working with tech packs, Illustrator sketching and hand sketching. One of my favourite parts of the design process is working with pattern makers in order to create the perfect fit. I have also worked with overseas suppliers and visited their factories to improve washes and the final product. With my experience in the denim industry my mission is to guide suppliers, brands and denim mills to focus on innovation and sustainability. The denim industry is facing constant changes in the name of responsibility, and I like being a part of that change. I can help you create better products on trend with the fashion industry and also in line to the consumer needs. 3D Digital Fashion Designer

I like to keep myself curious when it comes to new technology implemented in the fashion industry. Many (many) years ago the fashion industry moved from working with hand sketches and colouring markers to using 2D Illustrator sketches in order to better represent the collections and the garments. We have been experiencing a similar transition in the last few years where 2D sketches are replaced by 3D digital representations. This change is inevitable in terms of technology but also in terms of collection improvement and more sustainable solutions. The process of collection creation is fully updated and physical samples are not needed as much as before. This means less consumption among other things. I’m proficient with Clo3D and I find it fascinating and exciting as a tool and a way of representing new designs. I can help your company move forward with implementing 3D digital tools in the design process.

Design Sprints for Fashion

A Design Sprint is the best way to solve big problems and test an idea in just five days. This way of working is mostly implemented in the UX/UI industry, but the value of the methodology can be used in almost everything. Imagine that instead of following the usual method of designing, prototyping, improving, producing, selling in the stores and eventually knowing if a style is successful or not, we change it for: ideate, design a prototype, test, learn from the feedback, decide if the style is good enough for production.

With this new approach we would be saving precious time and resources from the beginning. This is the way of changing our methods of designing, and implementing a new way that has been already proved by others. And it has tremendously succeeded.
